A Day at the Beach

Today was a relaxing yet somewhat surprising day at the beach. I took the metro south and got off at Amager Strand, which leads to one of the beaches here in Denmark. My floor mate Sofie and I tried to find a nice spot, and noticed everyone seemed to plant themselves within the grass hills growing on the sand. We chose to lie on the flat sand instead. After being buffeted by the wind and sand we realized we should have followed the Danes' example!

Sofie and I were even more shocked when some friends of ours joined us wearing only neon colored speedos! My buddy Ron from Australia brought them over in order to "fit in" at the beach. : ) We couldn't stop laughing!

Just booked a flight to Barcelona and am really looking forward to it! I should be leaving in about a week and will be sure to add pictures of my adventures there!
